Fish both bays, La Jolla and some of the local lakes. Thanks for the welcome. looking forward to seeing how and what type of fishing is in Ne. Wife has a lot of relitives that live there and my daughter goes to college there. Mike

Which College Mike? If I travel to CA soon could you help me catch some species there in the bay? I am trying to get 50 species at age 50 this year. I could drive with my kayaks or rent one there. Flying would be much faster. I have been out with Jim Sammons as well.

She is going to Wayne College. You come out here and we will go fishing. There is nobody better than Jim when it comes to fishing, but I would be happy to take you out.

I know. Went back in May to pick up my daughter and take a week or so vacation. Looked up kayak fishing in Ne. saw your site,. Wife said don't even think it. Your not going back there to fish....LOL

If you get a chance. Look at the san diego union paper for today,7/21/09. go to the sports page and scroll down until you see an article titled outdoors. A guy caught a 6 ft. great white shark on a fly rod
